Vietnamese coffee

One of the nice legacies of French colonism is Vietnamese coffee. If you ask for a white coffee, they usually use condensed milk, which makes it sweet, but is highly addictive.

Hey that is upstairs at Papa Joe’s isn’t it? I recognize the cookie. I went there too much- it’s a great view onto the street from there!

Yep, sure is. I also really like that place and they have free Wifi. The staff are nice and it is a good place to meet other travellers.

Nice are you still there in hanoi? Don’t miss the water puppet show it’s fantastic. Also Lenin park from about 6am to 7:30am is a very cool thing to see with goofy morning aerobics and 30 games of badminton going on all at once!

Thanks for the tip – I will have to check out the puppet show, but I don’t know if I can get up that early :-)

I lived in China for a year and it sounds fairly similar. Some old women practice Tai Chi with a sword and I always had a chuckle when I saw them carrying their swords around.

That coffee looks like root beer, but I’m willing to try anything.I’m a freshmen in highschool in Chicago!
